Since 1970 The Data House has been serving the Central Ohio business community. We started with supplying typewriters and word processing supplies and grew with the rise of greater needs to manage data whether it be paper or electronic. Eventually we became a computer supply company providing all the things necessary to run office technology.
As technology supplies became more commoditized, and complicated we decided to more prominently feature what had always set us apart: Incredible delivery, service, and simplicity.
Even before the information age we never believed it was enough to just be able to get the things our clients needed. They needed to be delivered with exceptional service, integrity, and a fair, transparent price- For us this defines value. We see no value without measuring how much our clients enjoy doing business with us.

Plenty of companies brag about starting from the ground up. The Data House started even lower than that: Our thriving, award-winning business literally grew out of our founders’ basement.
When Ron and Judi Allen founded The Data House in 1970, they didn’t have very much. They started out selling computer supplies to customers in the Columbus, Ohio region. Even in those early days, the Allens combined two crucial values:
